North Carolina Disaster Relief – October 2024

At a terrible moment in American history, we saw so many people come together for the cause of helping so many that have been affected by Hurricane Helene, in the Mountains of Western North Carolina. Words truly cannot describe the horror, carnage and mass devastation that we witnessed, but we brought supplies, the power and love of Jesus to hurting folks. We truly were blessed as we mobilized a team to head down to help. We saw businesses, individuals, churches and other ministries band together for this cause. We rented the Biggest U-Haul box truck we could get and filled it to the brim with water, food, propane, gasoline, supplies and necessities, we also filled another 17 foot enclosed trailer as well. We Stocked and helped distribute supplies at Destiny Church in Sylva, NC and operated out of there for the duration of the trip. We prayed for people, distributed supplies, ran chainsaws and cut trees that were down on houses, cooked and distributed hot meals, assisted with cleanup efforts in a local church that had been flooded 4 feet up the drywall and covered with silt and drove to hard impacted areas personally delivering goods to those in need. There were a lot of divine appointments during this trip. I was also fortunate to stay over and preach at Destiny Church in Sylva, NC for the Sunday AM service! Many, many people were prayed and ministered to in these tough times! We were able to drop some supplies off at The River of Tri-Cities on the way back through as well. All told at least 20 salvations plus many had an encounter with the Lord! Words cannot begin to sum up the efforts, stories and encounters we had… All Glory goes to the Lord!
